What wheels tires combo to hook?
What wheels tires combo to hook? My 315's are useless in the 1/4mile now. I heard good things about the Micky Thompson Street Radials, but have no idea which wheels to go with or what the best size for the power levels im running at now. I hope answering these questions listed would help me and other to make a decision when buying a wheel tire combo for the 1/4 mile.
Can you please answer the following questions:
1. How much power is your car making? and whats your racing weight?
2. What brand of wheels are you running? List the Front, Rear size and weight if available.
3. Whats the offset of the wheels? What size of back spacing if any?
4. Does your wheels clear without notching the brake caliper?
5. What brand of tires are you running? List the Front, Rear size and tire diameter if possible.
6. Whats your best 60ft?
7. Whats your Avg 60ft?
8. Whats your rearend gears? and trap speed vs RPM (State if you have a Manual or Auto)?

7. 3.73's, 124, I can't remember the RPM's though, Six speed
Soon I will have some Prostar 15" X 3" (I think it is 1.75" back spacing) Skinnies and 15" X 10" (7.5" back spacing) Rears though. I am trying to figure out what rear tire to run to get the best results... I can't remember what exactly the back spacing is on the front wheels though. I know that you have to use a small spacer with them and you will not have to grind at all on the front brakes. With that backspacing on the rears though you will have to grind them a little. If you do a search on hee you will what the different kind of combo work for F-body's out there!

Bogart RT10's, 15x4 fronts, and 15x9.75 rears.
