Shifting an M6 at the track

I powershift, Never let up until 3rd, then I let about half out on the gas to prevent a missed shift which they are known for. 13.5 on street tires with a 2.1 60' isnt to shabby.

Well I got the times in my sig granny shifting since the clutch was slipping durring power shifting. With the Spec I plan on power shifting like said above. Power 1-2, speed 2-3, power 3-4. If done right (and tranny is good) you will pick up at least a tenth and 2mph.

Just shift fast.
Practice, Practice, Practice
The faster you shift the more the RPM will stay up from the prior gear and will help pull the next gear. when you are racing another car, if every time you shift your car jump forward, then your are shifting good.

I too powershift every gear generally speaking. Of course, there are times when I don't.
An example would be when I'm having to peddle it because traction isn't there. No point
powershifting there.
