Default Cam, Stall, gears. do they match up?

I was wondering how this setup will work. Im going to go with an MS3 with all the necessary parts, a 4000-4600 stall, and 4.30 gears. (maybe 4.10's depends on what everyone says) Will this etup work well? Or should I go with 4.10's? It is my D.D. but not for long. Im also going to a 400 manual valve body very shortly, so all the parts will be installed at the same time. Thanks for the help. Gregg.

I guess it depends on what's more important, if you want every last .1 out of your car go with the 4.10's however with a high stall like that you really don't need it for a car that sees more street action than track. A 3.73 or 3.42 would be a good all around gear choice. i had 4.10's with my 4000 stall and the ET difference wasn't really worth it since I drive it on the street more, I now have a th400 and I'm going back to 3.42's until I get a 9", then I'll probably go with either a 3.89 or a 3.50.

What size tire are you running? That will impact the gear choice some as well... and will you be running the same on the street and the track?
