Default What should a 104MPH trap run in the 1/4?

Interested in knowing what a car that traps 104 in the quarter should run? Also how much does altitude slow you down? Our track is around 5000ft up.

Alt really screws it up . A car that runs 12.0 at 100o ft might run 13.3 at 5000 ft. I know more educated people can give you real life #'s!

Depends what kind of car it is. N/A or forced induction. Depends on how well it hooks off the line. My friends camaro ran 13.4 @110 on a 1.23 60 foot. Bring that 60 down to 1.7 and he will be low 12s. If it's an fbody and trapping at 104 it probably runs mid 13s on a good launch. Just a guess Remember this is high 13s at your altitude. Take it down to Florida on a cool night and watch the times drop.

Guess the car would help. It's a SC'd C5. 60 ft times suck, cause I can't hook till 3rd. I'm not ready to go to DRs and deal the the broken parts that will result.
Right now I'm trying to figure out how much the car has in it, and how much the driver has to learn

If everything is near perfect, 104 will net you a high 12.
I have not been to the track since the tranny install but with the 60E my car would run 13.4 at 103/104. my sixty foots were 1.9s though.

Agreed. With an efficient driveline and good gearing/trans ratios and a dead hook, 104 mph could net you a high 12 second pass. But will likely be mid-low 13s.
My Formula goes mid-low 13s at 103-105 mph with high 1.9 60 foot dead hooking on a stcok converter and 3.23 gearing.

Thanks for the info guys. Since I'm not ready to go the slick/DR route, guess I need to find a couple hundred more HP
