How do you launch? I only had time for 3 passes with my recently aquired 99 SS M6 and the best I could muster was 15.0@98mph. Really bad, I know, but its my first stick car. Come to find out the car is peg legged and the one tire that WAS spinning is bald.
I "dumped" at only 1100 rpms and I swear I probably could have kept the "tire" spining the entire track if I wanted to. 2.6 60 FT
Now I have a Moser 12 w4.11s waiting to go in, and new tires, what RPM should I launch it at?

I would say you probably need sticky tires. However, that being said, your MPH seems down for being on street tires. May need a tune or tune up for that matter. With sticky tires, i was actually launching off the rev limiter on my stock rear

On street tires you don't really wanna be "dumping" the clutch. You wanna practice hooking without spinning. Rev it up a little and slip the clutch till you get moving enough so the tires don't break loose. It's a tricky proccess that takes a lot of practice to master.
