what safety equipment do i need?
what safety equipment do i need? which helmet specs do i need to have for a car running slower than 11.49 but faster than 13.99? and also can someone tell me which suit i would need if i were to run nitrous like spec wise, standards and material?

Minimum helmet would be Snell 95 rating, but those expire at the end of this year. so I'd try and buy a 2000 or 2005 (they are good for 12 years from the date on the label).
5-point roll bar, 5-point harness, SFI jacket, metal valvestems, etc is not needed until 11.49 and faster in a hardtop/t-top car, or 13.49 and faster convertible.
If you are running slicks at any time, you'll need a driveshaft loop.

hahaha alright just makin sure, i have heard that you need a fire jacket/suit if you're running nitrous tho so i just wanted to make sure before i tally up total costs and start ordering new toys

Jacket is required with nitrous at any time if the cvar doesn't have a factory OEM firewall, so you should be okay as long as the firewall hasn't been cut or modified.
