When the 10 pt chromoly version is ready, I'd be intrested in that. When you get it done, post up some pics of one installed.

Also, how are these gonna be for a bigger guy to get in and out, and with the seat clearance? I'm 6'3 and about 275, and plan to go with kirkey seats at the same time.. would something like this work, or would I be beter off with a full custom so it can be built to fit around me better ( better clearance for head, that sort of stuff ).

I'm 6'5", 285 and getting in and out is not all that bad. With Kirkey seats it fits pretty nice. Depending on who you have install it, the kit has plenty of room to tweak it a bit so that you're comfortable.

Someone larger then me saying it's o.k., that's good news. I'm also looking at a removable steering wheel, for security and for added ease of getting out, I'm sure with that it will be prety easy. The guy that I'd have install it is pretty good, looka t the pic's in the thread about eastside's 25.2 outlaw car they are having built, guy that's doing that is who would most likly do the install... I think he's capable.

Post up soem pic's of the setup when it's all done, definately intrested.

Good to see someone in this area making these as an alternative to having one shipped from somewhere else! Nice work Joe

And sad that for people like me from TN have absolutely NO option but to have everything shipped to us, as the LSx world here is non-existant....

It's nice to have companies like Stenod though, thats for sure!!

With a removable wheel, you'll be in an out with no worries.

Sounds like a plan.

Guys, Please PM me any questions you have, Were getting near that 10 mark for the first initial orders, so If you want the discounted rate better get it while it lasts.

And for those that want the roll bars Pre-notched, I'll offer that too. $450 is what i'll sell them for already Notched and ready to weld in for the 1st ten kits we sell. But... Like I said, that number is fastly approaching and that price won't last long.

Thanks guys

Stenod

I'm in Too!

Is the Low-Slung option extra? Is it still NHRA legal?

My doors bars are custom. I don't know if Stenod will sell them in the kit. They are not legal but I haven't had any problems yet.
The only isssue with the bars being that low is my seat is pretty much in that position and doesn't really move forward or back much.
The bars of the Camaro are still lower than most companies door bars.
