Yep. Those weld to the back of the cross bar so that you can mount your harnesses to it. For those with Kirkey seats and they are going to be butted up to the cross bar, you may want to actually weld that tab flush to the back of the seat and run a bolt through it. With a 10pt, you have to affix the back of the seat to the cage and that's one way of doing it. I believe that is optional on a 6 or 8pt cage. It's still a good idea to do if you can.

Typically you can bolt both set harnesses into the same tab. You just use a bolt with a lock nut and put a spacer in between the two belts so they can swivel a little so that you can adjust them.
Troy is about 5 hours from Chicago. Chrome-moly does take a specific mild steel filler. Joe can probably ship you some so that you don't have to go buy a pound of it.

I am 6'6 and 230lbs, and i have my seat all the way back, and adjusted all the way back power wise(if that makes sense). I do have the manual part of the layback all the way up. The Stenod cage does NOT touch the seat, but is within 1" of the seat when i am sitting in it. Perfect in my opinion.
I don't know of any cages that allow you to lay back the seat. That's the whole point of the cross bar.......
Good luck with your choices man!

If you want some pics of me sitting in the car, i'd be happy to. Like i said, height wise, i can't see you being a much bigger guy and fitting in the car with/without a cage. I fit perfectly, and the side bar actually is more comfortable in how it fits into the stock door panel/seat area. I am VERY impressed with Stenod's work!
