Thanks when I had street tires and ten bolt I would granny it from 2500 my best was 1.9 sixty foot. Thanks again

You are a lucky one!! Mine sucked right from the get go After the Spec Stage 3 install then I broke 2 10bolts launching at only 3000 rpm on Nittos, I guess my luck just sucks!!!

What clutch do you have now, Demonicbird00? I just installed a SPEC 3 and I have headers and cut-outs. So, launch from 4500 and shift at 6000 on DRs? What about street tires?

i have a lingenfelter clutch good for 650tq.

on street tires, not sure, youll most likely spin. after i got DRs, i never looked back, drive on them everyday. i was shifting at 6400, the limiter was bumped to 6600. sharpe... your on the rite course w/ the launch on drs. maybe even try going a lil higher if your not spining.

I went back with a stock (LS6) clutch, and I've had good results with it. I do a very abreviated slip (almost a dump) from off my rev limiter at 6600 RPM. This is with 4.10/1 gears and 27" ET streets. Last time at the track I had a completely stock suspension and I cut mid 1.7s all night.

As a trend, the higher I launched it, the harder it left!

and your still on your stock rear end or what cause if so i am gonna say that you got a rock solid stock rear

No, I am not on my stock rear end. I'm on my own custom-built 8.8" hybrid differential. It uses my stock GM 10-bolt axle tubes and a Ford Mustang posi/gear set. The ring gear is the same size as a 12-bolt Chevy (8.875"). It's holding up really well, and a whole lot more fun than the 7.5" 10-bolt was!
