Default Failed 25.5 certification

Well, Stenod took the Red Rocket over to Skinny Kid Race Cars to get the Chassis certified and it did not pass. I was not there but from what I understand this modification had something to do with the major reason for not passing:

On a more minor side, the trans crossmember diameter is too small, the seat support does not have enough structure, 5 bars need to be added but I need to get more info from Stenod on the exact location and many gussets need to be added. The window net mount needs to be changed as well. If it was not for the #1 bar being wrong the majority of stuff would be relativley easy except for the fact that I need to grind/cut/weld on a "finished" cage and re-paint.

Thanks to Stenod and Skinny Kid for your help this morning!

Tom

Hell or high water, the car should be at the North vs. South.

That sucks Tom. This is the exact reason myself and NRC and Stenod call each other if we have questions. The new specs are a bitch to interpret.

Default Nice try Tom

Maybe if you would have paid your bill and let us finish
the car it would have passed. Funny how all our other
cars have passed with the NHRA. Thanks for once again
trying to make KTS look bad. You are a piece of work TOM

Not to get into this but I never let a car leave until it is certified.

Default KTS Racecars

Doesnt even look like the car was finished. Probably why it didnt pass. KTS just did a 25.5 Camaro for me and it passed NHRA with flying colors. Everyone who has seen the car agree it is the nicest Camaro cage they have seen. Absolutely beautiful work.
Dave also updated my Malibu a few months ago.(rear suspension, 9", front conrol arms, rack, etc). Did over and above what I expected. Took the car to the US131 Street shootout and won the Outlaw class. (first race out). Second race was Milan Drag Radial last month and we came in second. Never even had drag radials on the car before that day. The car works great. Work is awesome. I would recommend KTS to anyone.

months with no pay! Tom and I had a falling out. He is being achild by the way he is handling it. I'm at Miland at the Fri. Heads up stuff with our
cars there if he would like to talk to me in person like a man.

Dave,

Listen up and listen up good! You were paid every red cent you were owed and I have the signed bill to prove it! I did not blame you, I take responsiblity for all of my own stuff. You want to discuss ANYTHING with me in person; you know first hand I am there. This is not an issue of anything being complete, it is an issue of what was done being wrong. I am not asking you for anything and I am glad all your other cages passed but mine did not. I am not a chassis expert and I have expressed my happiness with the cage in numerous posts and that is fine and dandy but when I run into a problem and post it becomes a problem and I am childish. 3mos without pay? How about a deposit and 3 mos with no work? How about money paid in advanced for work that could not be completed because your were too busy moving again. You blew your wad and ran out of cash so that is my problem? I will not respond to anymore posts or PM's from you. I have been on this board since day 1 and have a good reputation with every sponsor/member I have ever purchased anything from (I have purchased alot!). I will not let you bring me to a lower level.

Good luck Dave!

Not so fast Mr. Tom!

I have never ever posted a thing about you or against you.
Read your post again. It is you always taking your cheap shots
at me because you keep making the wrong descissions.
You do a good enough job at bringing your self to a lower level.
You cannot take a shot like you just did and not expect a reply.
Grow up Tom. And if you really want to show receipts, I'm game.
I dont mean to bash your rep on this board, I respect your position
on this board but am sick and tired of you bashing my company.
Dont do it again!

Wow! How is Tom's post considered as bashing of KTS? I see absolutely no mention of KTS? Seems kind of weird to me.

Kinda what I was thinkin too. Never read a mention of a specific company or person responsible until ******** open his mouth. If you did a good job or were involved with his cage at all, you went about opening your mouth all wrong.

I never read him bashing you, so unless its posted on this board your claim is false & your just shootin off your mouth. You must have a guilty consience or something to post like you did. It looks like you either knew he would eventually put out the name of the cage builder or you knew you fucked up & wanted to try to save some face.

You just made yourself look bad by posting in the fashion you chose.
