well i havent been running one but i'll slap on a blanket for now, We have been running this trans for over 10,000 miles and alot of passes most between 6.022 to 6.35 and has traped 120mph 1/8 mile we just always ran the 1/8 so the car was a better 1/8 mile car when we went to the 1/4 it had 4.10 gears and went on the limiter at about 1200 feet and went 9.80 sense we have went to 3.73 but the only good 1/4 mile pass was a no time pass and it went through at 7180rpm's with a 28" tire so i think its got 9.30's in it, so i will be freshen the trans up this week and giving it all i can but when the 60 tires out again i will be doing a th400

Damn impressive!!!

How many passes do you guys get before the 4L60Es can't take it anymore??

I was sweating my built 4L60E back in my Lt1 when I had 425hp (at the crank) just because I had read so many horror stories. This is promising.

I did 75+ low 11 second NA passes and a dozen 10 second runs along with 5000 street miles last season and the tranny was perfect when we inspected it this season... so far I have been out 4 weekend beating on it... run mid 10's NA and mid 9's with spray and it has not skiped a beat... the key is to find a tranny guy who knows what they are doing!

At around 6,000 mile i snaped a out put shaft, The car had well over 35 passes with under 1.35 60ft at that point but a output shaft that was treated did break, but when i went into the trans to replace the output shaft everything else was in great shape so i never replaced anything else. I have sense put about 4,000 more street miles and well over a 100 passes on it but i just hit the car with around 800+rwhp and the 2-3 shift didnt like it and the trans got hot and vented, so maybee a 300 shot is alittle to much to ask but i will be freshing it up and we will give it one more go

That's interesting... On my 2nd outing with the car in great air (the day I trapped 147 with 150hp shot)... My tranny vented as well at the top end... The dip stick popped out and gave me a good scare, along with everyone else watching! I blamed that on driver error as I did not give her enough cool down time.... I was hot lapping a 147mph car I now give at least 1hr between spray passes....

Thanks on the vid.
I am a women and I have only lifted 3 times. The first three times and no she was no where near the bumper. About 3ft maybe. Greg and the guys made fun of me so the 4th time I stayed in it..And she went high and straight. I was able to keep the wall in sight and knew I was going straight. She landed smooth and keep going. Trust me I was dancing and I think everyone there was on there feet clapping and yelling when I came back around all I heard was your the women... LOL All in all I can't ask for a better car for a DD what she does at the track. My husband did one hell of a job with her..

LOL I was not once complaining about your being a woman. never even crossed my mind. Just the way i was taught If it is up you don't lift unless the tires un-load. If they un-load it won't matter if you lift or not

The vid's look great and the car run's hard. we just keep ours on the ground. Not as fast as yours but the year is not over yet

BTW I just got done washing mine to drive it to work tomorrow too

we haven't been to publix since Greg was going to race the viper. When all the guys from the Tampa area came out so we could all meet up.

Last time we were at LMSP was about a month before Roy closed it and turned itno another part of the mudhole. Stupid JERK. One of the racers g/f saw him and told him alot of racers were pissed over it he said and I care why? Not nice at all about it. I hope the mud dries up. LOL
