Whats the fastest a FBODY car has been with a 4l60e transmission, And please I'm looking for facts, if you know what motor, and weight, please tell

10.3s @ 128mph and 1.38 60fts here with a Rossler 4L60E. It's got about 60 passes on it right now with no signs of weakness.

Info should be in the sig and we are now down to right at 3490#s with the light weight driver mod

I'm sure there are plenty faster, but we are NA. I'm sure the car would love a 150 shot We just aren't ready for that yet. We are shooting for 9.9s on motor with a daily driver. Air quality will make all the difference since I can't get the car light enough without sacrificing streetability.

I have them all over the tens and into the 9's.

I plan on pushing my 3,650 Slug into the nines at the next event

I drove it to work in OD Friday

We also have a 10 sec blower car with two full seasons and 4,000+ Lbs

And then there is the Turbo car..... One of the Mod's here 'Ryan K' Knocking at the door to the nines if her could get it out of the hole

Nine's is pushing it I will be the first to admit. ALOT of how long they last has to do with the driver, Programing and abuse.

If you get it built right it should last a season in the tens for sure

I build my own transmission's and was just woundering what people have really ran with them FBODY wise, We have been 9.80 on a weak pass car has much more than that in it, we had over 10,000 miles on it and only god knows how many passes but it is time to freshen it up,

My goal is to complete two back to back 9.30's passs car weighs 3630 before the cage so it should be slightly over the 3700 mark, I know its no going to be a realiable trans at this power level, I will be doing a th400 swap shortly after

greg if you run 9.30s with that 4L60e, i bet you will be the quickest 4L60e fbody.

Well I hope to have her at BMP next thursday for some mid to low 9 runs. I guess if I beat my 9.80 I will be just as happy.
The only thing that sucks with the TH400 is that next year when my belly can fit back in it and I resume racing those trips to Orlando will kill me without my OD.

Yeah tell me about it. When its a DD its hard to take too much weight off..

I went 9.6 @ 147 with my 700R4... same as the 4L60E, without the electronics... it has a manual valve body... This was with a 427 and 150HP TNT ring kit... I have gone 10.4NA... 1st gear is really short in these trannies and if something grenades in it, it could get ugly... I was lucky enough to get one of the 20 UltraBell's JW made for the 700R4...

ChevPower & LS1Queen have an extremely impressive car. They are not just talking heavy weight for a racer, this car is loaded. I think it might be missing the spare tire and that's it!

9.80s might be what one of slips said, but I've seen it on a No Time pass just blister the track. I'd be willing to bet it was a few tenths faster on that pass.

Don't give it too many more shots before you add the weight of the safety stuff. You folks are good people and don't need to risk it.

They are the same tranny from a mechanical point of view... The 700R4, 4L60, and 4L60E have the same external dimensions and case. The 4L60E is the electronic controlled version of the 700R4 / 4L60.

we have the cage and stuff in now. So shes a little heavier. You would laugh seeing me get in and out of it. Ask Caveman he saw it at BMP a couple weeks ago. I can't wait to see your car run in person. Greg and I have been wanting to see it for what about 2 years now..
