what is the acceleration diffrence between an AWD and RWD after the 60 foot

what is the acceleration diffrence between an AWD and RWD after the 60 foot im guessing this is a loaded question, btu i want to knwo what the diffrence between AWD and RWD after u take off the line, an example is if u had a camaro that weighed 3500 pounds with 300 to the rear and u had a camaro that weighed 3500 pounds with 300 to all the wheels, would there be a diffrence in acceraltion after u go off the line?
(if it makes more sense to u replace camaro with evo/sti)

Front diff adds a ton more weight. AWD cars are great on the street, but horrible compared to a slicked RWD car @ the track. Ask the Typhoon owners why they turn um into RWD if they want low numbers.

im talking the same RWHP, will the AW have an advantage?
both cars the same weight and same horse power to all wheels the AW has 300AWH and the RW has 300WRHP

if every factor is equal including parasitic losses, rwhp, weight etc etc then the cars should be dead even right??
If their both have 100% traction then theres no difference between the two, thats me guess

teh reason i asked is because i thought about this..... if an evo has 300 to all 4 wheels and my car has 300 to the rear wheels, if i added another ls1 engine to the front wheels making my car have 300 to all 4 wheels wouldnt that make me go faster (this is theoretical weight dosent matter)

Weight always matters as it is part of the acceleration formula. That is a different discussion all together though. In the recent scenario, the EVO would jump ahead and you would have to reel him in. Theoretically, if the Camaro had AWD, they would be even. If you added an extra LS1 to the front, now the Camaro has a combined awhp of 600. Not a good comparison. Just adding AWD to an F-body and having it put down 300awhp (same as the EVO) gets you the result I mention, dead even (if all other factors are ignored).

But as far as parasitic loss goes, the AWD has a disadvantage from a roll because of the hp loss. But from a stop on the street they're nasty. I had a stock Evo beat me badly off the line when I was putting 380hp to the ground with my previous cam. It took me until almost 4th gear to catch up.
