Best point to connect a winch on a F-body to get it on the trailer?
Instead of fighting to get my car on the trailer by driving it up spinning and all that jazz, I am going to just winch it up from now on, so if I was to connect a strap or chain under the front where is the best place and method to do so with out it rubbing on the front clip ?
Also along these lines how are people strapping the rear end down? 2 tie downs or one?

I put a U bolt on my car for the winch. I always use 2 straps crossed, front and back. Heard too many stories of winchs releasing or striping gears.

I was wondering the same thing the other day, maybe Madman could indicate where it would be safe to weld a loop in front to hook up a strap to... I was thinking on the k-member but what about somewhere on the cross member?

I am going to make something that quick pins on the front in one of the driving light holes for winching or towing off the track if something breaks, With the intercooler piping and air dam anything low enough to get a strap/winch on would be like 1" off the ground and would get beat up on wheelstands..
