How much clearance do you have with 28s?
I was wondering how much space you have in the front and rear of your slick? I am going to have this car on the dyno soon and dont want to be working on it there. I have a little over an inch on both sides. Is this enough? The car on the spray should run 150mph. I have 28 10.5s et drags. thanks

thats all I have is about an inch, I beat quarter in a little where the tire is closest so if it does rub it doesnt get caught. When the slicks are new they will rub a little but after they wear a bit they dont rub anymore. Have to watch the inside too, there was a couple spots that required some additional beating..

I had no clearance issues with my 28 x 10.5w's on stock tubs. I did trim the inner edge of the bumper some in the rear. I basically just cut the bottom edge where the bumper came in like 4" so that it only comes in 1 or 2" like the rest of the bumper lip. Your clearnace should be fine though.

I have an inch or less clearance, I'll take a better pic next time, here is how the car looks:

My rule is if I can get my thumb between the tire and body I have more than enough room.

I was on the dyno and I guess from my car being pulled by the straps made the car sit lower and my rearend shift back some. The dyno pulls were to 140mph. I measured the grove in my slick and the gap. You need atleast an inch at those speeds

i actually measured the the wheel well today and it is exactly 30 inches from the bottom side of the fender to the other! you will most likely need adjustable lcas and you will have no problem getting them to fit! i have about an inch on each side! prepare for alot of bfging!
