The yellow car is running a mild Big Block. My car is going to be a 3/4 car from the firewall back. I want to fit a 30'' Tire under mine and have it low.
9sec93 will you car go lower than it is now and still work good??
Also what is your race weight???

my car will go alot lower and still work. the only thing keeping the car from sitting on the ground is the bmr driveshaft loop. it was about 2" lower than in the pics but the driveshaft was hitting the top of the loop. over winter i am going to modify it so i can put the car back down. i could also fit a 32" tire on it and still put it on the ground. i used all mild steel tubing so it is a little heavier than if it were moly but it weighs 2950 with the passenger seat and about 8 gallons of gas. of course that is without my fat *** (another 210 lbs) in there. still not bad for 200 feet of ms tubing though.

not too sure, haven't talked to him in a bit, nor the chassis guy about it(he made up some stuff for my car). I know he was just looking to have fun. no class racing with this car anywhere. guy got married, got a house, etc... all in the middle of this, so the project slowed down. those pics are maybe 6months or so old.
it was a 10.80 stock internal/TH400/dual stage/"full weight" car. HUGE diffrence now, haha
