I decided to take the firebird to NTR today to see if I got my charge pipe problem fixed. We decided to be conservative being that it would be it's first full pass so we ran wastegate pressure only,"10 lbs springs" the the boost controller at 0. I didn't get a great burnout, it seems that the 2 step is still activating with the line loc. Launched it at 5psi and went tearin down the track. Almost all the way without issue until the belt came off and the msd and fuel pump didn't like that much but it still ran a

R/T .912
60ft 1.443
330 3.942
1/8 6.047
mph 116.22
1000 7.891
1/4 9.500
MPH 136.95

We then tried to salvage what was left of the belt and try it again. This time got a better burnout but then as I was getting ready to run, the car in front of me decided to blow up at the end of the track. Waited for about a half hour or so and blew the tires off and headed for the wall so I had to get out of it. After the first run they said I couldn't run again so we packed it up and went home. I was glad to get a pass in

Can someone point me to someplace that sells a good backhalf kit with subframe and preferabily a 9" housing?

I see them all over ebay but I'm not sure what to look for when finding good vs bad kits

Well guys as much as Im hating to say this it looks like My project is coming to an end and not for the good either. I need to come up with the cash for my this upcoming year of college and pay off some other stuff. That and im gona start playin more in the Mud/wheeling truck world. It seems like all my friends happen to be mud truck guys anyways lol.

SO... heres how it is. You guys have seen the car progress to where it is now so I dont really need to get into it. Its got a clear title and was a V6 car which will make for a sweet break on the insurance. Ive got everything that came off the chassis. ie, hood, fenders, Dash, wireing harness's, stock seats and interior panels etc. Il make for sale thread at as soon as I can so as to not clutter this, but in the mean time if any of you guys may be interested drop me a PM or call my cell 716-397-4424. I have no idea on the price and am open to reasonable offers. If you guys ever wanted to do this to your car but didnt want to go this far heres your chance. Some sheetmetal work and drivetrain and your good to go.

THanks guys,

John

I plan on doing this to my Camaro at some point. Probably once I get my Formula back and running again. I was thinking ladder bars though as from what I've seen to put them in a 4th gen it looks much easier. I know this is a huge you can't really be wrong argument, but I've gotta ask. I've only seen 1 4th gen with ladder bars and there's at least 3 in this thread with 4 links. What do you prefer and why?

EDIT:
Actually created a new thread as not to high jack this one.

Ladder Bars vs. 4 Link
