How are you attaching the back half to the car since fbodies are unibody cars? Or are you buiding a tube chasis under the stock floor like the 25.2 cars do?

if you look in the pic theres a crossmember running across the car right behind the doors , welded to the rockers... tie the cage into that and throw some subframe connectors to the front off that crossmember and your good to go... you can see in the pic that he has the main hoop welded to that crossmember already...

technically he should do the floor bars for a 25.5 cert while he's there, that way it will be done and be easier to upgrade to a 25.5 car if thats not his intentions already..

Mine? nothing to really see LOL... shoudl ahve a rollbar in it soon, and a set of 28 et drag's screwed to my bogarts that fit a stock dimension 12 bolt... nothign you'd be impressed by. But, it should be a mid 10 second car on motor... but again, I doubt it will impress you.

http://video.ls1tech.com/video/44ca8...670166cce5.htm

don't' mind the commentary of the cameraman LOL... he's a little obnoxious. but, there it is. maybe someday LVD will fix the scoreboard so something other then the MPH will show up on the board. Ran between 10.90 and 10.80 on those 3 passes. Still need to get the car to hook off the brake, and stop the rims from shifting about 2 inches on every pass. A set of 28's instead if the 27x11.5 qtp's I
m running, and screwign them to the rim are gonna make a big diference.

Default Stuck

Yeah, The truck is my baby, It will be in the fives as soon as I deal w/ some traction issues. I plan on putting a turboed 481 in the truck and the 505 in the camaro one day.

9sec 93, Im kinda stuck at the moment, what did you do to tie the backhalf in to the front subframe, Im looking at a set of UMI connecters and then modify and add what bars I need to them, any ideas

i used the boxed bmr's. besides the fact that they were already on the car, they worked out great. then i tied the door bar through the floor into the subframe as you can kinda see it in the pic below. for the very front of the door bars were the meet the floor by the kick panel, i just went right to the 6x6 plates on the floor. i can get you better pics if ya need.
