Default Slick Storage....

Didn't see anything popping up on search, but I know there has been discussion about it.

So:

Wheels/Tires off the car, laying on their side. Do we want to use cardboard pieces between the two rims? Something on the ground?

Keep skinnies and slicks in closet in house. It is better to keep the tires close to an even temperature maintained in the house and I believe the rubber will last longer.

Don't let direct sunlight hit the tires, they will dry out even faster.

and, I put mine in large garbage bags, and tape them shut. This reduces the ozone exposure. Ozone kills the rubber. Eventually, they will become "harder than the back of Superman's head".
Some yrs ago, I stored a pair of new ft runners in the attic of the shop. When I got them down, I dropped them to the floor, and they cracked all around the sidewalls!!
