Default How will this work, lowering car

I want to lower it but dont want a hard rough ride and do not want to make it to stiff for the drag strip. Right now I have stock springs and shocks on my 01 WS6. I was thinking about QA1 shocks and springs on the front so I could adjust the front end up and down and in the back a pair of Hotchkis springs, and leave the factory shocks.I heard they were least stiff lowering springs.Anyone have a set up like this or close to it.I have changed already most everything else.

I switched from prokit rears to cut stock springs and gained a ton.
Here is another local car that also swithed to cut stock springs over lowering springs

cut like a 1/4 coil off at a time til you get what you want.
I used the the prokit front springs. I have revalve bilstiens on the front which don't work well for drag racing. I'm switching to qa1's and 325s in the front this winter
The car in the vid(NOSWS6) has qa1 R's with qa1 springs.

Alot of people say not to cut the springs but it helped me over the lowering springs and well, you can see how NOSWS6's car launches
