Default Track/street wheels & tires

For my '94 Formula, I'm looking at a set of Weld Racing Draglight wheels 15 X 10 with M/T 3757R ET 325/50/15 Street Radials for the rears. Up front, Weld Racing Draglite Wheels with M/T 3005 ET Front Drag skinnies.

I'm looking for the lightest package with the best traction that's also kindasorta street legal.

My quarters are already rolled to fit the BFG drag radials on 17 X 11's.

Should I be looking at something different?

I have the same combo(street tires up front) and it works great. I also drive mine daily(have for years) with no issues. I also had the same combo on my '95 TA for several years with no problems.
Traction wont be an issue. There are several cars(mine included) here that will testify to that!

If you want a tire that is kinda sorta street legal, you better go with a Mickey Thompson Sportsman front. The ET FRONT wheel is not street legal.

They are scary as hell if it rains. Not great in dry weather either. Sidewalls are too soft. I drive mine 5 miles to the strip.....that's about it.

If you want a good street/strip tire go with a drag radial.

Ok, if I was to run say a set of bogarts with skinnies upfront and et street radials in the back, how would it handle doing highway driving at say 70 mph or so. Would it be a bad idea or am I just better off buying to set of rims. I could always get a cheap second daily but I think I would still end up driving my camaro most of the time anyways.
