Need help keeping front end down
I went to the track yesterday and tried the spray for the first time.with a .6 delay it went a 6.29 1/8 mile @ 108.4 mph. If I try to hit the spray from the get go it just wants to stand straight the f@#$ up.Any help would be appreciated. The suspension is all BMR, with QA-1's on all 4 corners.Front set at #3 setting and rear set @ #3 also.

If your having wheel stand problems (the pictures you posted do not show that.) 3 to 5 clicks is too soft. 2 clicks won't really make much difference. Bump them up to 8 or 10 clicks. Travel limiters will make more difference than anything. My front tires only drop about 2" most of the time.
Good luck, Ed

Those pics are leaving on motor ,sorry I didn't say that. When we tried to put nitrous to it off the line it came up and started to go left, so I had to lift. That was leaving on 30% and bringing the other 70 horse on a ramp of .3 sec.for a total of 100 shot.

I would buy the madman ones youcan get them at thunder racing. I was also wondering some specs on your car.
Weight?
690hp at the motor but have you ever dynoed it at the wheels?
What drivetrain does it have?
I am just wondering to compare it to my car thanks.

All of the specs are in my link @ cardomain, except the weight.I think it's going to be about 3,400-3,500.The scales were broken at the track yesterday. No I haven't had it on a chassis dyno yet.DT is a 1.76 powerglide w/ a 9"

My car is low also. Cars in the 1.5s won't have wheel stand issues. Some maybe a couple of inches, but that's not an "issue".

How do you "get too much bite for the hp"? Automatic cars are SUPPOSED to dead hook, no wheel spin at all. If your atuomatic car spins the tires at all, you could be faster.
Stick cars do need to turn them over a few times at the hit. Automatic cars should not.
Front travel limiters will help one that still wheel stands badley with the front shocks set all the way stiff. Wheelie bars are great, if your class allows them (many do not) and you want them.

My pro-mod car, I take too much timing out of it, the thing hits the wheelie bars right at the hit of the throttle..
When you start talking about BIG horsepower, top fuel/ funny car/ pro mod...Watch those cars and tell me the tires dead hook!
Again I wasnt stating Stock suspension fbodys work liek that too, I was just putting in my .02!
