i wimped out going to the 325/50 /15 mickeys and went to the 275/50/15's instead
now my car is a high ten second car with a full suspension and was hooking like a beast on the 245/50/16 mickeys
i just didn't want to beat the **** out of my fenderwells to get them to fit

run as much tire as you need to, not as much tire as others. if you hook on the 245/50 stick with them untill you cant hook any longer. too many variables and you didnt explain what your car is running now at the 60'
i went 1.47 on the 275
i went 1.38 on the 325

Went from 7.30s to 7.10s 1/8 mile. With same combo on my 02 SS. Went from 325s back to 275 50s. Rides an drives better around town. Pulls the fronts about 2". 1.50sixtys vs a best of 1.56 with the 325s. Car is a h/c 346 02SS with Qa1s, sfc, bmr adj control arms, an a wolfe sway bar.

On a previous car, I went to 315 DRs and ended up regretting it.
It looked good, but it really slowed the car down at the track.
Not making that mistake again.
