With the Motor plate did you have to shim/space anything out for the Distributor setup?

Pretty much everything under the hood (and everywhere else on the car) is custom

Stay tuned for a video from the weekend... the good news is we set the class MPH record at 177MPH @ 3470lbs still with the 85MM inlet... the bad news is we are still plagued with traction issues... that 177MPH pass was pedaling it 3 times! The good news is we discovered 2 major issues we believe are holding us back... we'll get this sorted out along with removing the restrictor on the turbo and do our best to make it to LSx shootout next month!

No ****! If you're hitting 177 with a 85mm resrictor I can't wait to see what it runs with a larger turbo. The Ohio boys and Tom Kempf are running a 101mm and both hit 188. It should be interesting to see what your car will do with some traction and a larger turbo.

Love the inside car video part. Looks so great Reminds me of what I'm missing right now

Congrat. 8.2 in really kicking it. Good luck

David

(p.s. need to start a new trend in the race section with your times and video)

So we made it to the LSx Shoot Out in Memphis and went to the Semis running a 7.91@177... we made 2 changes to the car going down, switched to a BMR torque arm and removed the restrictor on the turbo going from 85MM to 98MM... While it was great to make it into the 7's and run a tenth within the fastest Lsx stock suspension cars in the world we where a little dissapointed as we had major fuel pump problems that was hurting our ability to tune the car with the recent changes... this explains why we only picked up 31MPH in the back half (146 to 177MPH)...

We went back to our local track over the weekend... we knew based on only picking up 31MPH in the back half we had more left in the tune... as you can see from these 3 back to back 7.8 passes @ 183,184,185MPH we where right Here's a video showing how far we have come in 1 short season!

It was a custom long torque arm... it looked cool but was not working!

I am running a Weldon pump now...
