Drag Car Start Hey guys,
I've been posting in the Midwestern sections looking for a rolling chassis to start building a drag car. I was wondering if it would just be easier and cheaper to go with a used V6 car and start from there, since I'm going to need to redo the suspension anyways. I want to get a 408 iron block for FI power.
I can't seem to find anything, any advice?

I believe I saw his post, i'm not sure...
was this the car with the 25pt roll cage? I don't plan on going any faster than 10.0 so I don't need anything super crazy

yeah it had a full funny car cage....
so you're basically looking for a "street roller" and less of a rolling race car chassis???
I would say for what you're trying to do yeah you could pickup a 6 banger car and start there..... but i'd still try and get something with at least a 6 point cage... there might be a few of those around on here...

thanks man, but I'm thinking by time I pay for the extra shipping charges to get the car from Texas to the top of Ohio, I'd be better off trying to find one a little closer.
