if there 325s are that narrow then i would say a 390 from them is gonna be about the size of your 325 m/t

I'd bet $$$ that their 390's are still smaller than my MT 325/50/15's.

I would have went with the 390's but they are almost 30" tall, way too much for me. ****, as it is I had to cut the bumper to clear these!

I'll get pics soon, but honestly, you guys will hate the way it looks. I do. They look EXACTLY like truck tires. Tall and narrow. But if they hook I guess its OK. Its too bad they aren't wider, they'd be perfect!

How do they hook? Expected miles out of them? And what size is that? I have 17" OE concepts vette rims.

That is the 325/45/17 discussed in this thread. I wouldn't expect very good mileage just judging by how soft they are, but thats just my guess. I don't know anyone running these. M&H says they suggest a rim size of 9"-11", but you can see how narrow these are and I have them on a 9" rim.

Couldn't tell you how they hook, I mounted them last night and its raining.

I admit they look a little hillbilly, but as long as they hook on the street -- that's what matters to me.

Exactly.

Actually, the more hillbilly the better for street racing. Notice the black rims, black car, skinny tires, etc. Stealth mode.


I noticed your car runs in the 9's, did you do that on these tires? How are they hooking for you? Weather and time are working against me so I haven't even driven mine yet.

At the risk of admitting I'm a poser, the car hasn't gone 9s -- yet. It went 10.29 @ 136 last fall with it's previous owner. The Yank 4000 PT couldn't hold the nitrous. On that pass he had to shift into OD after hitting the rev limiter just to get to the end of the track. Now that the car has a Yank custom 3800 that handles the nitrous, I'm confident the car will go 9s. He had the M&Hs on for that pass. In fact, he drove 3 hours each way on those tires and got 21 mpg on the road. I'm going to a US41 track rental on the 28th with high hopes for a 9 second pass.
