Default Weather Station

What do you all use? The Barry Grant Air Density Meter seems the easiest to use. Any thoughts?

I have alltronics handheld but

I would rather have one that logs either stand alone or with my computer.
That way I could go back a compare because I don't always have time to keep track of it or just forget.
I plan on investing on a new one in the next 2 years.
also mine don't work well in the day and has to be turned on everytime I use it. I also want one with wind sensor.
I would love to have a car pager that communicates the info to your car.

Kestral 4000 here. No e.t. predictor (which I don't want anyways) but has all the other functions, can store up to 250 sets of weather info, as well as graph it, and smaller than most same style stations. $250.

I've got a computech.

Has DA/Corrected and a billion other things I don't use, also has ET predictor although I really don't use that. There are some people I know that bracket race and live by their weather stations ET predictor with a decent amount of success.

Mine is WAAAYYY too overkill though. For me I just want Corrected/DA/Temp/Humidity and wind.

I think about all the et predictor is good for is to giving one more thing to blame for dialing the wrong number. jk
Maybe if you had your car set perfectly but I don't know. For sure do not buy it for that reason though

I am using the PortaTree system

Hey I have had a Practice tree for going on 20 years. When they changed to LEDs my lights went to hell. I needed a new tree and this one had a weather station

It works good and I use it year round now

you got a full size pratice tree?

I started bracket racing the same year they changed the lights.
I believe I could judge whether I got a good light or not better with the old lights

I used to know I had a good light if I was going BY the tree as it was turning grean(usually .00x) Now the car is so violant I am just happy to miss the tree

I was so dialed on reacting as lights were in certain phases of going out of coming on I am having a hard time nailing them now. I did find yanking the tires out of the beams helped the most.

The tree I have is not full size. It is the potrable one Jegs and Summit sells. We are planning on hooking up a full tree when we get the Enclosed trailer but that won't be till next year. I will use my old Biondo Practice tree to run it

Here is the new version of what I have

Lucky bastard to have an enclosed trailer and practice tree. Guess your pit spot will have the benchracing tree shots when rain hits at the track!
