Here is a pic of my purple horny header mufflers. They turn down right where the pic ends.

And yes I scrape the mufflers occasionally but I have an Eibach drag launch kit on it so the rear sits pretty high.

Trust me don't go SD...it's overated. SD will not adjust for cooler temps. I'm going back MAF ASAP.

IT SOUNDED BADASS. BUT THAT WAS WITH THE STOCK SETUP. WITH A BUILT ENGINE IT GETS REALLY LOUD, HAHA. I SUPPOSE IT'S NOT TOO BAD.

THEY FIT PRETTY WELL. I USED AN EXTENSION ON THE PASSENGER SIDE, AND ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE WHT WORKED BEST WAS USING THE SMALL SHORT PIECE FROM A HOOKER Y-PIPE AND THEN PUTTING THE MUFFLER AT THE END OF THAT

I have the Borla XR1's off the headers right now. They sound really good. I had the Magnaflows off the headers first, but really didn't like the sound. They had a muffler/weird truck kind of sound, but they are quieter than the Borlas. I may go back to the Magnaflows soon since I live more in the city now and I'm sure the neighbors love me

i was having some probs with traction with it being the first time out and the rain having ended like 10 minutes before these passes, haha

but you'll atleast get an idea of how it sounds. that and you can kinda see the driver's side clearance with how i had them

watch for the sparks when it spins and taps the limiter

sweet setup..i thought about running header mufflers but my neighbors suck, so I opted for edelbrock mufflers for a deep tone, and cutouts for fun

That sounds really good. You have the Trex right? I am going to do it collectors->mufflers->dumps. I don't think any extensions would be worth it because the mufflers are already 24" and the turndowns are 9".

Yea I have the T-Rex cam
I really don't think the extensions are necessary. Even with just the muffler and turndowns I have overall 18" from collector to the outlet of the turndown. When I had the Magnaflows I think it was around 32" to the outlet.

Your car sounds great Man!!! As I said before I just got some Dynatechs same style as the XR1s and I was just curious if you had any pics of your setup and how you came off the header? Also did you do any clearance work to get them to fit? If yes what did you do? Hope you can help me out!!

I did the BFH mod a lot to my car. I'm going to do more to get them to tuck up higher. I don't have any pics under the car I didn't have a camera with me when it was on the lift welding the reducers on.

I am going to be running dynomax bullets with turndowns off my headers. I have an Xpipe with no mufflers now. It was fine before I put the cam in, it is just unbearable now. Hopefully I can quiet it down some.
