Something New to Help the Twins Turbos
Received all the parts for the new Moser 9". Added all the control arm, sway-bar; and than got it powdercoated; Joey at Excessive put it all together yesterday. Now needs to be put in, do the mini-tubbing, add beefer front springs. And than we'll be ready.
Moser 9"
Narrow 3" ea side
Almum node
3.55 Pro-comp gears
Full Spool
40-spline, gun-drilled
5/8" studs
Strange Race Brakes
Thanks also to Thunder and MadMan for helping on getting this to us so fast.
Only a month left until the first TNT

We'll have to see on the tires we'll stay with the Hoosier 30x10.5x15R for a while. I'd like to try some 15x10.5W or 315 M/T DR with the 15x12.
Never know maybe some 33x14R.

Hey David on freindly advice have Joey weld you on a backbrace it will help alot with the nine inch not twisting on you like they are prone to doing. By the way I have the same setup in mine as well

So slow: thanks. I'm hoping not to have to change out the gears, but the 9" should be easier than the 12 bolt
Skipper: Big? not really. The 30" lets me run a lower gear and lets me finish at a safe RPM. I know a lot of people will run their cars to the max - 7200-7500 RPM's, but I like to take it easy on the engine - I like to finish/shift at about 6900-7000. Other racers at the track think I'm crazy to run only a 10.5" tire at 150+. Oh well
Thanks. The rear sway bar system we are putting on will take care of any possible sway.
Thanks again guys

Thanks NRAHMan. I appreciate it.
Tom I have alway love your car. Still pretty damn awesome. My SS will have entirely new look once the mini tub and rear end is finished.
