unless it is a kit designed to bolt onto a 4th gen then i would just get the Madman setup. Had a buddy try to use a generic rack and it ended up costing him way more than what Madmans kit goes for. Sure the rack itself is cheap but its all the little stuff that adds up and kills the savings

Josh, I would assume it is fairly similar to a Madman rack in which case as long as you're running skinnies up front you're fine. What is the cost of the PA setup?
This is my Madman rack using some "custom" mounts rather than what comes in his kit. Also, his setup comes with the right steering shaft to just bolt right in, drill one hole and you're ready to go, just make sure you clarify when you order (if you did go that route) that it is an LS1 car as the shaft differs from an LT1 car.
