Looks great, nice writeup!

Price for the wheel? P/N?

Was there anything additional you needed to buy for the install (other than the puller)?

I'm putting my 5" tach in the same place and it's nice to see with the new steering wheel you can see ALL the gauges.

Being that I'm an electronics guy, I can tell you , the only differnence from an LED and a regular diode is that one emmits light... so if you swap it out, nothing will happen.
I pulled all those LEDs:
Seatbelt / Aribag / ABS / E-brake / Etc..
Did not placed a diode (which was a thing i didnt know) and now the car mantains the Service Engine light on, not the SES. Throws some un-deleteable codes.. .. i guess i gotta pull that one now too..

Picked it up from Summit.
GRT-1080 $189.95
GRT-3196 $16.95

As long as you have the torx bit, nothing special besides the puller is needed.

That doesn't include fixing the issue with the airbag light .

no, just replace the removed diodes with some non LED ones, and you'll have no more dash lights... you just have to put them on in the right polarity/direction.

Before you toss the cluster, try it. You have nothing to lose.
