Default Help the slowest TA ever!!

As you can see in my sig i own both a 00 SS (6spd) and a 99 TA (4spd). From seat of the pants expirence the TA is measureably slower than the SS was stock for stock. I just put headers on the TA so im thinking that since they both have LT's that they will be closer once again, right? WRONG. Went to the 1/4 track for the first time since the install today and was embarassed to say the least. First run (no burnout) netted a 14.8 @94. I was like WTF? Came around, did a decent burnout this time and stalled it at like 2 grand. Ran a ****** 14.7 @94. Went again and again and again and this was the ticket #'s for my best time
reaction - .9582
60 ft - 2.130
330 ft - 6.254
1/8 ET - 9.488
1/8 MPH - 76.84
1000 ET - 12.2349
1/4 ET 14.5932
1/4 MPH 95.30 (Mustang #'s)

It was about 75 degrees and overcast, a little humid, and i DO have 3 month old stock size tires on the back so theyre pretty sticky. I was stalling the damn thing at a high enough RPM that the tires were starting to move before launch sometimes. After launch id just stick the pedal to the floor all the way through the traps. Only things i could imagine could be the problem are fucked up o2 sensors, a problem i know i have, although the car seems to run fine at wide open throttle. Only other possibility i can think of is a stretched out throttle cable, although (once again) i do believe that it opens all the way. What do you thin my problem could be SERIOUSLY!? And before some smartass asks YES THE PARKING BRAKE WAS DOWN.

Averages about 13.6-13.9 at 99-101 at Penwell outside of Odessa TX (thats where i made my runs in the TA) although the geographical location is roughly the same.

When you run 13s in the SS it's on 2.1 60s?

Just do a bunch of general maintenance to make sure none of the little parts are worn. Do plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, etc...

How many miles on the Camaro? 122K is pretty high mileage, sounds like it might be down on HP's. Do a compression test on all the cylinders.

Damn, I think its something between the 60' and the 1/8th mile. My 3.4L V6 95' camaro pulled a 9.6 in the 1/8th with basically that same 60'.

I'd go through the list of general replacement items as listed above and see if that nets anything. The mileage could be a factor, but my Formula has 123,000 miles and just went 13.teens a months back. I think you need to launch her at less than 2 grand. Try about 900-1000 and see if that improves it a little (allowing the converter to "flash" and move the car instead of pushing it out of the beams).

Headers could also be screwing up your tune, so I'd consider adding that to your list of things to check as well.
