Default Optimized MT ET Drag

I tried asking in the wheel/tire section but apparently these kinds of questions dont get answered there so I am trying here.

I tried searching around, but couldnt find anything consistent.

Those of you running Bogarts or similar 15" wheels, what size MT ET Drag's or similar slicks are you running out back (height/width plz) and same with front runners.

I have a 3.73 gear and an A4 trans. Looking obviously for the best size optimized for the drag strip.

Much appreciated

what is your mph goal? for most 28x10" slicks, an A4 needs a 4.10 gear. what is your converter?

I got a PT4000

Would a 28x10 be ok with a 3.73?

I've currently got the 26.4" x 10" x 15" Hoosier slicks mounted on my Bogarts with a 3.90 gear. I need a little more gear and also a little more traction so I'm switching to a 4.30 gear/spool and a 28" x 10" x 15" Hoosier slick. I'm running the same PT4000 converter and plan on trapping close to 130 with the gear/tire change as long as the weather holds out.

Let's say I stuck with the 3.73 gear, what would be the best tire possible for the highest trap speed and/or to keep me in the RPM range I want to be in while crossing the 1/4 mi

bro,. there are people that want to help you but notice you are not answering any of the questions people asking?

what is your power level?
what is your expected trap speed?
what is your expected ET?
what is your shift points?

there is NO SUCH THING as a best tire size for every combo.

Use the calculator in my sig to help, there isn't one directly for you questions but you could use the optimum gear calculation and see what tire size gets you closest to 3.73 for the RPM's and Speed you want to cross the line at...

Very helpful thank you.

Wow, says that if I want to trap approx 121mph with approx 3.73 gears, I need a 26" tire, but I would be crossing the line at approx 6000rpm.

I would most certainly need more gear
