What is the lowest DA that you have ever raced in (or ever heard of)? I've heard of a DA as low as -1100 ft. But I'd like to hear what others have raced in. Also, what area were you located in when you raced in that DA.

I've run in it at -500 in central Kentucky, it was a whole 41 degrees though so I didn't 60 ft. that great It as like 1 in the morning for that pass, I was relying on the heat off the headers to keep from shivering in the car.

http://www.wunderground.com/ - find location closet to your track, also it has "stations past history" so you can check what the weather was the date and time you ran at the track. You have to know your tracks altitude (HRP is almost sea level at only 10ft)

then type the values in here http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_da.htm

No, they r in Wis. and they actually have a clue up there and try to make it better and listen to the drivers.

The track in Indiana owner died and the new manager is a complete waste.
Always rude, know it all, big shot wanna be. I busted my *** to get fast cars there when they asked me to come back and give them a chance. I looked like an idiot and still have guys giving me crap for draging them out there. I even had a buddy come out, he won Quick 8 and he was so pissed off the way they ran it and talked & treated us, he never went back. Then the yes men on their web site ripped us for not coming back when they lowered the payout & doubled the crew entry fee.
Sorry for the rant, wife's gone for 10 days.

this is what i use.

http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_da.htm

then i go to weather.com for the temp at the track.

or if your lucky, go around in the pits where guys have some drag cars and trailers and as if they have a weather station, and ask if they could tell you what the DA is, theyll tell you most of the time.

I've raced in -845 DA air last December at Gainesville, but about 3 years ago in January it was in the 40s during the day, cloudy and -1250 DA to start, and warmed up to -650 DA by 3 pm!
