John you should take up a donation on here, say 25 bucks. That's cheap enough, and I'm sure with the 200,000 members on here, you'd get more then enough $ to make that car absolutely 110%.
Better find a sponsor/chassis shop to get it to quick, because if you set something like that up you're gonna end up building a SERIOUS car. There's got to be at least 2000 members on here that will donate 25 bucks to it, that's more then enough $, plus with some sonsors taking care of alot of the parts.... we (as a community) should be good to go, with enough CI to swallow a whole mustang in a few revolutions of the cran, and a driveline to put it down.

As a bonafield M6/manual transmission drag racing enthusiast - I say go with an Auto!!! There is just too much room for error in an M6 car to ever risk it on PINKS.

Yeah I would donate some cash for sure.
I would not say make it $25, some people might only be able to do $5 but if a thousand people dontake 5 bucks then thats 5g's.
I aggree that an auto needs to go in there. missed shifts ect ect, lots of things that can go wrong.
I am sure we will be going up against of the twin turbo termenators.
I say keep everything that goes into the car under wraps so noone knows what it is before the show taping

Dude 89 thousland members whatever.. get 2000 of them to donate 25 bucks and you're in business, especially with companies like UMI donating all the suspension, all that is already out of the way. that's 2 grand in parts that don't have to be bought.
