Default Single diget suspenson

Say you have a 650-700hp motor going in your car and plan to spray a progressive 300 shot on it.

Car allready has a 10 point cage. Will more then likley go with a WOLFE mini tub.

What tire/rear suspension would you go with. Gear would be a 4.XX. Thinking 4.11 or 4.56

Big tire, QA1, adjustable everything with a WOLFE weld in drag sway bar and mad man torque arm?

Car will have a full spooled 9 inch rear with a TH-400 on a brake and Neil Chance stall.

4 link safer?

Not very educated on the 4 link stuff.

Would like to stick with a 10.5 tire.

A lot of variables. BUT let me try to help.

Assuming - by your post - you'll be done 1K rwhp?

You can go to my web site for my suspension set up. Basically I have 1K at my wish. My rear suspension consists of: MadMan LCA, Wolfe sway bar, Excessive AutoSport TQ Arm, QA1's, built Moser 9". My launch will be at 1-2lbs of boost - about 650-700hp.

I'll be running a 30x10.5x15 Hoosier; and trying out the M/T 315 Street Radial and a 30x10.5W tire.

I believe you'll fin that you'll have to go down to the 3.55 series gear. UNLESS you intend on run 32" or bigger tires.

3.55 really?

I allways thought you could go 4.10's with a 28?

I was thinking about going with a WOLFE mini tub.

Looking at about 1,000 crank hp this year on the nitrous.

i would suggest AFCO shocks. solid bushings and not rubber like the QA1's have. they are pricy but well worth it.

Here, use this calculator for your gears. It's not 100% but close. Leave room to grow.

With a 3400 pound car (molly cage, 9 inch, TH-400), 950hp, 6000rpm threw the finish and a 28 inch tall tire is put me at:

8.9@153 3.27 gear 5.67 in the 1/8th

I went a little on the heavy side I think and consevative on the power.

3300 pounds, same tire, same RPM and another 50hp got me 8.73@157 3.18 gear 5.56 in the 1/8th

Still just seems small to me.

sounds ok, but why only 6000rpms through the traps. Surely your shifting higher???

I put your numbers in at 6800 rpm trap. Calls for 3.7 gears. So, giving a little room, 3.55's should work.
