Default Carb Vs FI (not what you think)

On an LSX motor STARTING FROM SCRATCH what the cost of going fuel injection with an edelbrock single plain intake, big tb ect ect compared to a single plain with a carb of equal size ect ect? Talking about each set up with all the supporting parts and sensors.

How much power can the LS1 computer handle? Whats the limits on it? I know the later year PCM's are better.
Will it support near 1,000hp or a little more?
Sorry I am LSX stupid when it comes to this and am about to buy a bullet proof iron 408

I know carbs do not adjust to DA. Say one day the DA is a little higher. Will you notice it really bad at the track or is it like thousanths of a second difference?

Posted this in the newbie tech but deleted it because I never get asnwers up there lol.

As far as price it's about a wash. The injected setup may be a bit more depending on TB selection over carb. As for the rest I'm not really sure. I would think the PCM can take up to the HP level you want but not 100%.
