Is my time far off from what it should be? My car 1995 Firebird Firehawk M6 3.42 gears, long tubes, off road-y, lm exhaust, a\c delete, lt4 km, madz28 tune, underdrive pulley, rear seat delete, no spare no jack, BFG KDW 275-40-17 tires, koni sport shocks front & rear. TB by-pass, aluminum driveshaft. It has 95,000 miles I have checked cylinder compression 190-180 for all cylinders.
I just got back from the strip. My best time was 14.013@101.75 with a 60ft time of 2.215. I understand that my 60ft time needs some improving. I remember before I bought this car reading about how the Firehawk was able to run like 13.5 at 106mph. With the mods that I have I thought I would be able to run a 13.5 and maybe once my driving improved I might better that.
Over the winter I put new plugs and wires on the car(MSD 8.5 & NGK) I did not change the cap & rotor or OPTI. The OPTI might be the original from the factory.
So do you guys see any problem with the times that I am running? Is it just the lack of experience or is there something I should look into with my car?
Any pointers you guys can give to improve my time?

elevation is low like 400ft. I live in Michigan the temp was 75 and the humidity was low.

Yeah, something seems off if those mods, elevation, and weather are correct. I ran at a track last weekend with similar elevation and weather and I was in the 12.5 range on every run and my mods aren't too far off from yours and I might even weight more becaue I haven't pulled the AC or any of that stuff. What is your race weight? What rpm are you shifting at, and are you checking this against the stock tach?
