New set up coming together How does this sound.
Iron 6.0 LS1 block (408)
Eagle forged crank and H beams
Diamond forged pistons and Diamond rings
ARP mains
Short block has 4k miles or less on it so I am thinking about upgraded the rod bolts but I will call Eagle first.
Comes with ARP head bolts and a single roller timing chain but I may upgrade those
Tweaked CNC'd AFR 225's
Edelbrock single plain intake
Patrick G custom grind for all out race
300 shot threw a plate on a progressive
LS1 PCM
Nasty N8 fuel system
Neil chance N20 stall
Mildly built (may get it built more) TH-400 with a brake.
Full spool Moser 9 inch
Everything Madman and Wolfe (sway bar) out back (allready sent a PM to Thunder about it). More then likley mini tubed and have the rear narrowed. AFCO coil overs,15X10 wheel, not decided on the tire yet.
Kooks headers with borla XR-1's
Motor will have an alternator and electric water pump on the front of it, thats it.
The motor with the same heads and a ported FAST 90/90 put down 547rwhp threw a built 6 speed and 12 bolt. On a 100 shot it did about 647rwhp.
Cam was not an all out race cam but was up there (under 645 lift).
Figure with the larger cam the single plain will really open it up more on the top end. He said the A/F was off a bit so there was a LITTLE more left in it.
I figure with my setup I should be able to do 550rwhp on the motor pretty easy?
Car goes under the knife in April and a buddy in buying my LT1 drivetrain, motor to rear.
I am THINKING about solid motor mounts. Once I get my window net I will be able to get the cage certified to 8.50's. Car has fiberglass race seats ready to go in, no carpet, no HVAC, no rear seats, ect ect. Molly cage, not a heavy weight car.
Nothing is set it stone on the set up yet. Not sure on the gears yet. Will not decide untill everything is set in stone. Getting ready to hit the overtime pretty hard
Car chould be out no later then late October.
Some of the locals are allready really giddy about it
Have the bottom end ready to ship maybe the heads (waiting to hear back, some owner of the short block has them), have the TH-400 waiting for me... buddy of mine is giving me 2k plus for all my LT1 stuff.
