should allignment be differnt for track only car? Is there a better allignment for track only or just the regular allignment.
(as in front end allignment) I will be needing one when I get my car back together and thought I had heard about something different???

Yes, there is a track only set up. I can't remember what it is, but I'm sure one of the chassis guys can help you. It should be done with you in and all race equipment mounted.

You want to set the car up with the front end 2-3" up from a dead rest, the driver in the car, and all fluids (gas, water, etc) to simulate racing conditions as close as possible. I have my Nova set-up like this, and even though I still drive her on the street, it helped a lot on how it tracks down the strip versus a standard alignment (not as touchy on steering).
