Default Looking for new rear drag shocks, need advice.Madman can you help?

I'm looking to replace my rear QA1 coil overs. The right one is shot, the fluid is leaking from the valve. And to get the 28's under it. I had to crank them all the way up. This seems to be putting a ton of preload on them. The car rides like a log wagon. I hate it.
It's like they need a taller spring.

Anyways, I want to try the stock springs with the QA1 dual adjustable shocks. Or some other sort of drag shocks.

My question is, should I use a V6 spring or my stock ss springs that came on it?
And should I buy the QA1 duals or a different type of shock?

I have a sphoon drag sway bar on there now and adj LCA's with rod ends and a sphoon chassis mnt TQ arm and PHR.

Help me with my setup guys. Thanks.

I just looked at the afcos on thunders site. They are only about 50 bucks more than the QA1's. The rebound adj looks a little bit tricky to get to. It's at the top of the shock.

Anyone else using these? How hard is it to adjust them? Are they really better than the QA1's?

Madman, would I be better off going back to a stock spring/adj. shock vs a coil over?

then put in a stiffer rear coilover spring

Thanks for the link fireball. I really want the double adj shocks. To be able to fine tune them a little better.

I also want a softer spring for the Rr.

Competition Engineering 3-way adjustables seem to do well for most.

I still have not heard from anyone with afcos. I wonder how hard it would be to get to the top adjustment settings. There at the top of the shock. So would you have to adjust them from inside the car and pull the carpet back, or reach all the way up there.

Not sure on the adjustment. Everyone says they are the best and the mounts have solid bushings, QA1's do not I hear....

Well guys I took the coil overs off and put the stock shocks and springs back under it. The car sits a lot higher now. All most to high. But at least the 28" slicks will fit fine not.
I plan on taking it to the track with this set up under it for now. Until I can figure out what I'm gonna do with these. I want to get them rebuilt and go from there.

i dont have any issues with my el cheap comp engineering 3 way (un)adjustables lol. i set them on 50/50 and go 1.37 60' easily. i know KP has gone 1.25 60' with his rear shocks. nothing wrong with QA1 and Afcos are just plain awesome. i just cant afford to drop that kind of coin on shocks untill i get more stuff taken are of on my car.
