Default Chromoly K-member question

I just finished installing a chromoly tubular k-member under my car and got to thinking....Is it ok to jack the car up by jack up on the k-member like the stock one? There doesn't seem to be much there and I am curious if the k-member can hold up to the stress of jacking up. The car is a big block car and I just ain't sure.....Help

I jack mine up there, I use about a foot of 2x4 with some screws to keep it positioned on the tube, been doing it for 3 years now and havent hurt anything - just need to have one long and low floor jack Not a big block but I have all that supercharger stuff hanging off the front.
