There are several different mfgr's of the roll backs.
Some are just a tilt bed. Not what I wanted. The roll gets to a lower profile, when in load position.

My brimar los really low too... I just crank the front leg up all the way when I load/unload the car and there's no problem. That in effect jacks the truck up when I crank the front support leg down too.... but it also does another task, stops the trailer from shifting alot when loading/unloading the car... which was the original reason I did it, helping to tilt the trailer back for loading was a bonus really.

sounds like you need longer ramps...ditch the ramps from the trailer and get yourself a couple planks of wood...the ones they use for dump truck beds i think they are 4x12" like 10-12 feet long...youll have to cut a bevel on the one side so the car can roll up off the trailer, or figure out a way to attach them to the deck...

Why??? I've hauled my car and alot of other cars like this alot. Never had an issue. My car is a pain to get on backing it on the trailer, no way it would go on driving it up. It also loads the trailer better, not too much weight on the truck. I have to use a 6 cylinder F-150 long bed, so it can't take too much load on the tongue...lol. Why do you think this is such a bad idea, if it's that bad, I'll try something different, but so far so good?????

Putting the majority of the cars weight on the end of the trailer could lead to disaster if you ever have to make any kind of emergency manuver. It will cause the trailer to swing out of control.
