Your car looks awesome, although I am a little confused on your calculations of 60hp per lb of boost. 890rwhp at 14 lbs(almost atmospheric pressure) so 1/2 of 890rwhp= 445hp on motor another 445hp from the boost. 445hp/14psi=32hp per psi.
Either way the car is prestine, it looks so good I almost wouldn't want to race it.

On the 2 other set-ups. If you want to fit the tire inside the fender well - just by my experience - the 12" will not fit unless you cut apart the fender itself. I didn't want to cut the fender itself. It seems that that 10" work. 5" or 6" you'll have to decide. My overall 6" works. The 315's are bigger than the 325's according to M/T website.

My motor only had better make more than 445 . Turbo's are a little weird. They never make consistent boost per lb. Until the turbo's get into their "zone" they will make smaller hp; once they get into full boost the hp will climb at a higher rate. I'm not any type of expert, but this is what I have been told, experienced and seen my self. --- i.e. at 1-6lbs it may make say 30 hp/lb; from 6-10 say 40; and so on and so forth (these number are examples only not to be taken as true in every case, just in my set-up).

Thanks for the comment on the car. It was built to race. I can't wait to hit the track again. Soon hopefully.

Could you have rolled your fender and they fit?
You are saying they rubbed on the actual fender?
if so on the top or the front or back?

Fenders are rolled.
No they don't rub any where.

Any bigger rim, and I would not have been able to lower the rear-end over the tire. I still have a little room for a little bigger tire if I want to. I think for now a tire that is 30x11.9 is good enough.

Looks good...I plan to run that same size tire without and mini tubs or major suspension changes. But I like the lower look on your car.Mine will sit a little higher...

I run the Wolfe mini tubs, Centerline 15 x 10 wheels with 5" BS, Wolfe off set control arms with 325/50 MT's on a 9" narrowed 3" per side and everything fits perfect, close to the control arm but managable.

The 295's are 30" with 10.9 tread about an inch narrower than the 315. The 315's are 30" x 11.9; 325's are 28" x 11.6. All 3 seem similar.

Sure wish someone would make a 15x10 with 6" B/S. Just nothing out there - except Bogarts which I love but can't afford a 2nd set.

3 weeks ago - the SS still is not ready for the track Soon, hopefully soon.

Holeshot wheels will make whatever backspacing you want.

Here is a pic of mine...325/50's, 9 inch narrowed 3 inches per side, 15x10 w ith 5 inches of BS, chome moly control arms, and a mini-tub, the LCA's arent that close to the tire, about a 1.5 inches. What is close is the LCA mounting bolt on the rear end, real close to the wheel itself.

I've noticed your car sits relatively low. The major problem then was the heighth then? With the 325/50/15 only being a 28 inch tall tire do you think the 15x12 would work?

Or was it a problem of the outer edge where the sidewall and the tread meet rubbing on the fender if you lowered it down.

If you can't tell I'm trying to figure out what it's going to take to fit some 15x12s with 325/50/15s.

It's the problem of the outer edge where the sidewall and the tread meet. The inside will fit, but the tire would rub the edge of the fender. Not by much, but close enough not to want to chance it. The edge of rim is just inside the fender well. Add the tire.. not going to work. I did not mount the tires, so I could return them. Just eye-balling it, it wasn't going to work. the 15x10 are fine.
