I coated my 9" with por-15 and took a pic to add to this thread. But it just looks black and shiny... so not much to see.

Here is what I learned. It needs to be cleaned and etched if bare metal. You can use a paint brush, just make sure it isn't too cheap of a brush that you lose bristles. Clean with a tach cloth or something, cause even though it dries thick, dust will show up. Also, put it on thin and keep and eye on it, because it flows really well and can run easily, very easily. When it is dry (which only takes a couple hours) it is very shiny and very tough, looks like powder coat...
