Opinions on Wolfe 6-point bolt in
Just curious to see what you guys think. Is the 6-point bolt in worth it, or should I just get a chromoly setup? Just curious to know if the bolt in will let the chassis flex that much more. My suspension guy said it's $125 a point for chromoly. I was thinking about saying heck with it and getting a 12 point installed, but weiry about cutting up a car with 20K miles on it. I'm starting to have a who gives #$#( attitude at this point though. Plus, I'm thinking of adding some kind of forced induction later on.
I'm expecting the car to run high 10's on motor when I get the rest of the car together. I have the rear suspension all done with a custom chromoly torque arm relocated to the floor pan and the fronts getting a custom chromoly k-member w/arms when the motor's back in. And of course, a chromoly STB.
Any thoughts? Opinions? Probably should just get the 12-point instead of buying the bolt in and then upgrading later..lol! Heck, like that's never happened!

With your plans it would be cheaper to got 10point weld in. It will be cheaper to do it all at once.
I got my moly 10 point for $700 shipped w/swingouts
tig welded in $750
added bars thru firewall to front frame $150
They did it all at once on a stripped down car.
total cost was $1600 for cage with the addon.
20k miles on your car. that would be a little harder for me mine has 90k. but I would probley do it anyway.
Then you will be ready when you go FI.
I wouldn't do it unless your serious about racing though.

Just my opinion there.

Any tall individuals "totally" uncomfortable fitting in the car with a 10-12 point? I realize it's going to be a tight fit, but I all ready have to roll out of the car to get out...lol! So if it takes me 10 minutes to get in/out then I might reconsider my options.
Money is not a consideration here either, just FYI.
