Default Adjustable racing seats...

I'm building a strip/street car for my gf and we have an issue with the seats. The car is a '99 firebird and currently has manual adjust front seats. She's tiny (5'1" 95lbs) and needs the power adjustments to raise the seat up so she can see well out of the winshield. I will be driving the car also and I'm 5'11" 230lbs so the power seats are real convenient for us to switch.
My question is are there race seats that I could adapt a stock power adjust setup to?
Optionally are there race seats that adjust both up/down and forward/back?

I'm debating adding the power adjust to the current seats and just sucking it up with the extra weight or building adjustment brackets to allow us to manually move the seat up and down as we switch drivers.

All advice is welcome as I'm really not sure what to do.

I used a JAZ lightweight seat and made brackets out of aluminum to mate up to the stock brackets. These are the only pics I have as I don't have that car anymore:

If you buy a nice seat like a Corbeau, OMP etc they make velcro in seat and back pads for the seats, just for this.

That would fit the definition of a "spartan" interior he he
