I am posting this here hoping that someone can help out. This is for a 68 Camaro with an 8pt bar but I am thinking of using the 4th gen camaro seats. I have seen numerous pictures of harnesses used on the T/A and firebird seats but none on the Camaro seats. Can a harness be used with the Camaro seats? If so does anyone have pictures? This is not a drag car but is a pro touring car so any help would be appreciated.

I have seen one SS w/ white seats that were stlightly modded to accept a harness. I don't know were the pic is, but it is on the boards somewhere.

i'm going to cut a slit in the middle of the seat then use a soldering iron to melt the cloth so it won't fray. Use a hacksaw blade to cut out the foam in the seat and call it good.

i'm sure a good upholstery shot could make the slits in the cover for you for fairly cheap and you could do the foam yourself
