my shanks go almost all the way thru the wheel...if they are that long...can't see how the stud can bend...kinda restricted to a shear only action

Re: Another New Best!!!!!! yep I am running the long ones. The studs are bent right at the base. (one was sheared off)
They look straight but are angled from the base if that makes sense LOL!!

Re: Another New Best!!!!!! Also I think the reason the car is running better mph now (where it should be for the combo) is due to the fact I now have a cam signal. The CMP position sensor wire was severed in the harness and a crank/cam relearn was impossible. I think that is why I am up almost 3mph with no other changes to the car since last year. It is running where it should 
I think 4.33 gears with 28 inch slicks, shortbelt, good longtubes with merge collectors and extensions will be good enough for 10.8-10.9@125mph in perfect weather.

Now, I have the big 5/8 studs. I shouldn't have any problems now.
