Default getting rid of power windows

I'm wanting to ditch my power windows, is there some kit that I can buy so I can install some roll up windows?

there has been some posts that the weight of the mechanisms for the crank windows actually weighs more than the electric window setup.

are you doing it for weight or the PITA that the electric window motors are? haha

i removed the power windows in my car and weighed them then took the roll up windows and weighed them. the roll up windows or 10lbs lighter than power. oh and that is for each door. so u knock 20lbs off by going to roll up. i bought a 6 cylinder car that was totaled and did the swap.

No kit. You have to find the regulators in a salvage yard. GM discontinued them. I've done this swap already. VERY SIMPLE to install. I don't recall what the weight differance was,but the power windows including regulators, relays, switches, and wire harness weigh more.

Not as much a matter of weight for me. I don't want to send power to the doors in a weekend race stripped vehicle. I do want to retain the ability to lower the window if necessary. Does it work to simply know a hole in the panel for the crank or will I have a depth crank area issue?
